I thought about how much Dr. Seuss had an impact on my life. I owned ALL of his books and cartoons as a child, and saw “The Cat in the Hat” movie as an adult. His characters are unforgettable! Who can forget counting “One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish”? I even made “Green Eggs and Ham”! ….So many memories!

I always thought his books were so cool, but I never knew that he was actually expressing his ideas on social & political issues in his children’s books!

The Lorax (1971), about environmentalism and anti-consumerism
