‘Earth from Above’ is my favorite Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s work. I accidentally found his exhibition in Singapore’s Orchard Road on December 2005 and his work still mesmerizes me ever since.

It is mother nature’s true beauty, it is the great eyes of the photographer, it is his perspective on how he sees the world… it’s CREATIVITY

Besides nature, he also captured people’s life.

Nobody believed in the “Earth from above” project at the beginning: two hundred letters sent to potential partners remained for the most part without answer.

“If some photographers aim at leading us into their own world, Yann Arthus-Bertrand and his team’s approach is to show us the world we live in. Their subject is our Earth and its inhabitants, captured with humility and curiosity in a portrait the onlooker may personally relate to.” – The backstage of ‘Earth from Above’ project

I saw the very same exhibition, but in Sydney Australia. The pictures are amazing.
